Phyllis Ann Hansen

Phyllis Ann Hansen, 81 of Worthington, PA passed away on Sunday Dec. 29, 2024 at Quality Life Services, Sugarcreek where she made her home since 2018.

She was born on December 3, 1943 in Dover, NJ, the daughter of Henry Harry and Muriel (Coonrad) Abrams.

Phyllis lived most of her life in the Dover area and attended Roxbury School in New Jersey. She worked as a custodian for the Dover Board of Education and was a member of the Tebo Methodist Church. Phyllis loved the outdoors and could often be found hunting or fishing. Her sharp eye for good deals and unique finds was used at the yard sales she traveled to. She was at her happiest when riding on her Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 38 years, Martin Hansen who passed away on May 27, 2001; her companion, James F. Henderson, Sr. who passed away in 2022; brother, Thomas Francis Abrams; sisters, Lillian Bishoff, Marilyn Hicks, and Sharon Biasi; and infant sister, Sheila May Abrams.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Arrangements are being handled by Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.

Interment will be in Rimersburg Mausoleum, Rimersburg, PA.
