Matt T. Krizmanich

Matt T. Krizmanich, 67, of Kittanning, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital.

He was born in Kittanning, Armstrong County, PA on September 17, 1956 to Mike Krizmanich, Jr. and Teresa Joan (Costanzo) Krizmanich.

Matt was member of St. Mary's Our Lady of Guadalupe Church and Kittanning Hose, Hook and Ladder Company #1. He enjoyed volunteering at St. Mary's and throughout the local community. In his younger years Matt delivered newspapers in Kittanning and enjoyed riding his bike around town. Later in life he was limited to wheel chair and scooter, which he used to get around and enjoy the town.

He is survived by two brothers, Francis Krizmanich and wife Betsy of Snow Mass, CO, S. Michael Krizmanich and wife Krista of Fairview Park, OH; four sisters, Monica Peterson of Canal Winchester, OH, Anne Shepard and husband Larry of Kittanning, Maria Krizmanich of Ocean View, NJ, Judith Krizmanich of Pittsburgh; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Family will receive friends from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM on Tuesday, April 16, at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 North McKean Street, Kittanning, PA.

A mass of Christian burial will take place on at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, April 17 at St. Mary Our Lady of Guadalupe Church, 101 W. High St., Kittanning, PA with The Very Reverend Eric J. Dinga, V.F. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to either Life Armstrong or Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish. We extend our thanks and gratitude to the doctors and nurses at ACMH and Life Armstrong. Please know that we never worried about Matt due to his many friends. Thank you for your friendship and kindness to him.

Interment is at St. Joseph Cemetery, Rayburn Twp., Armstrong County, PA
