Dale B. Gourley, 93, of Norwalk, OH, formerly of Worthington, PA, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 10, 2023 at Gaymont Nursing Home.

He was born September 5, 1930 in Greenville, PA to Samuel D. and Edith B. (Baxter) Gourley.

Dale lived in Western Pennsylvania most of his life before moving to Ohio. He honorably served in the US Navy during the Korean War and then worked as a service technician for Verizon formerly Bell Telephone in Penn Hills before retiring in 1992. Dale was a member of Walkchalk Salem Baptist Church. He enjoyed singing Barbershop harmony with a group in New Kensington, camping, traveling and going on cruises with his wife, Theresa.

He is survived by his wife, Theresa R. Wilhelm; grandchildren, Renee King and husband, Rob, of Madison, WI, and Derek Seibel and wife, Laura, of Suffolk, VA; great-granddaughter, Kara King; and sons-in-law, Alan Black, of Worthington, and Timothy Seibel, of Williamsburg, VA.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Gaile E. (McKeever) Gourley, who died July 27, 2010; daughters, Darla G. Black, who died September 7, 2014, and Dawna Seibel, who died October 4, 2015; brothers, Neil Gourley and Gerald Gourley; and sister, Anna Vaughn Pheasant.

Friends will be received from 11 AM until the time of services at 1 PM on Friday, Sept. 15, 2023 at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA with Rev. Edward Walters officiating.

Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, PA.
