Orvetta M. Trudgen

Orvetta M. Trudgen, 99, of Ford City, PA died Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Premier Armstrong Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born April 27, 1925 in Kittanning, PA to Carl G. and Clara (Claypool) Trudgen.

Orvetta was a lifetime resident of Armstrong County and graduated from Kittanning High School in 1943. She was employed as a bookkeeper and was a member of the Free Methodist Church in Kittanning. Orvetta enjoyed decorating wedding cakes, baking, crafting and babysitting her nieces and nephews in her younger years.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

Orvetta was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Carl J., William Dale, Gerald E., Theodore R., Robert W. and Richard H. Trudgen.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Monday, September 2, 2024 at Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, PA 16201.

Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at the funeral home, with Rev. Terry Trudgen officiating.

Interment will be in Worthington Presbyterian Cemetery, Worthington, PA.
