Georgia M. Weaver

Georgia M. Weaver, 77, of Shelocta, PA, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2026 at Communities at Indian Haven in Indiana, PA.

She was born August 30, 1948 in Indiana, PA, the daughter of George L. and Lenorah Ruth (Brailey) Lowman.

Georgia was a 1964 graduate of Penns Manor High School. She worked for more than 25 years as an assembler at Season-All Industries in Indiana. Georgia enjoyed doing crafts, attending craft shows, and planning parties for Homespun Creations. She also loved reading, crocheting, baking, gardening and canning. She especially cherished her time camping in Tionesta and making handmade gifts for her grandchildren.

Her memory will be cherished by her children, Laurie Claar and husband Jeff, of Petersburg, PA, Daniel Gresko and wife, Carrie of Saltsburg, and Veronica Cramer and husband, Robert, of Penn Run; grandchildren, Ashley, Jessica, Jeff Jr., Jacob, Austin, Abigaile, Justin, Maria, Holly, Zella, Sierra, and Chevy; and ten great-grandchildren with one on the way.

Georgia is also survived by her sister, Mary Jane Jerome and husband, Norman of Phoenix, AZ and her brother, Thomas Lowman of Cherry Tree, PA.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, George I. Weaver, Jr. whom she married on Sept. 1, 2000 and who passed away on Aug. 31, 2017; son, Ronald J. Gresko, Jr. who passed away on May 1, 2020; and her sisters, Louise Fancella, Noriene Shaw, and Donna Mason.

Family and friends will be received from 11 AM until the time of the funeral service at 2 PM on Saturday, Feb. 28, 2026 at Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home, 238 S. Main Street, Elderton, PA, with the Rev. Edward A. Walters officiating.

Interment will be in South Bend Cemetery, Shelocta, Pennsylvania.
