Mandy Marie (Cushey) Tack

Mandy Marie (Cushey) Tack, 50, of Worthington, passed away peacefully at home on Monday July 20, 2026, surrounded by the unwavering love of her family. Born in Kittanning on August 07, 1975, Mandy was the cherished daughter of F. David Cushey and the late Jo Ann (Kuchta) Cushey.

Mandy graduated from Kittanning High School in 1993. She later followed a lifelong interest in skincare by earning her esthetician license from Kittanning Beauty School. She dedicated much of her career to caring for others, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Sugar Creek Rest and Concordia as well as a variety of other healthcare roles. Alongside her husband, she also co-founded Empowered Elders, where they provided educational seminars to long-term care staff.

Some of Mandy's greatest joys were found in life's simplest pleasures. She adored her beloved dog, Molly, loved spending the day shopping, and treasured the years she spent coaching cheerleading while her daughters were young.
Mandy took great pride in herself and her appearance. She was rarely seen without her hair perfectly styled and her makeup carefully done. The accessory that completed every outfit was her dog, Molly.

Above all else, nothing brought Mandy greater happiness than being a "Grammy." Her grandchildren were the light of her life and every moment spent with them was a gift she cherished beyond measure.

Though her passing leaves an immeasurable void, Mandy's memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Left to cherish her memory are her loving father, F. David Cushey; her devoted husband of 20 years, Matthew Tack; her seven beloved children: Brittanni Boltz and her husband, Ryan; Megan Johnson and her partner, Chris; Georgie Shoop; Zack Tack; Caleigh Tack; Laci and Alexis John. She is also survived by her two brothers, David Cushey Jr. and his wife, Melissa, and Justin Cushey and his wife, Kelsey; her seven treasured grandchildren: Wyatt Boltz, Weston Boltz and Wrenly Boltz; Myah Ludwig, Makenzi Ludwig, and Jax Ludwig; and Hudson John; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. Mandy was preceded in death by her mother, Jo Ann Cushey.

Mandy will be remembered for her humor, infectious smile, fierce spirit, and the love she so freely gave to everyone fortunate enough to know her. Thank you to all who have so graciously supported Mandy throughout her diagnosis and provided end-of-life care. While her family grieves the profound loss of her physical presence, they find comfort in knowing that her legacy of love and resilience will live on for generations.

Friends will be received on Thursday July 23, 2026 from 2-4 & 6-8 at the Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N McKean St, Kittanning, and Friday July 24, 2026 from 10AM until the time of the service at 11AM at St. Paul's Community Church, 2167 PA-268, Chicora, with Pastor Sam Piper officiating. Interment will be at St. Paul's Community Church Cemetery.
