E. Marlene (Blair) Heginbotham

E. Marlene (Blair) Heginbotham, 83, of Kittanning, PA, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 5, 2023 at Concordia at the Orchard in Butler, PA.

She was born on Jan. 21, 1940, in Kittanning, PA, the daughter of Thomas Lawrence and Mildred Olive (Schall) Blair.

Marlene graduated from Elderton High School and was a lifelong resident of Armstrong County. She was the owner of Blanket Hill Floral for many years. Marlene previously attended Whitesburg United Methodist Church. She loved to garden and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Marlene enjoyed playing the piano, singing and taking drives on Sundays with her husband, Bill. She will be lovingly remembered for always rooting for the underdog and for the loving care she gave everyone.

Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband, William Jay "Bill" Heginbotham, whom she married on May 2, 1958; her son, Jeffrey S. Heginbotham and wife, Deborah of Kittanning; her daughter, Cheryl A. Mallory and husband, Gregory of Kittanning; 12 grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Marlene was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Tammy L. Hilman; and her brother, Raymond L. Blair.

Family and friends will be received from 6-8 P.M. on Tuesday, Aug. 8, 2023, at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA.

Additional visitation will be from 10 A.M. until the time of funeral service at 11 A.M. on Wednesday, Aug. 9 2023, at the funeral home with Pastor Larry Edwards officiating.

Interment will be in Whitesburg United Methodist Cemetery, Whitesburg, PA.
