Edna B. "Ruth" Morgan

Edna B. "Ruth" Morgan 85, of Industry, PA, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Heritage Meadows in Kittanning, PA.

She was born on March 23, 1940 in Rochester, PA the daughter of the Samuel Earl and Edna Ruth (Tice) Bevington.

Ruth previously attended New Salem Presbyterian Church in Ohioville. A natural caregiver, she devoted over 50 years of volunteer service to the Crimson Line Auxiliary along with her sister Rose at Friendship Ridge, now the Brighton Rehabilitation and Wellness Center. She loved raising and caring for exotic and endangered birds and animals. Her love of flowers also led her to work in several local greenhouses.

Her memory will be cherished by her son, Samuel J. Morgan DVM and life partner Sandra K. Rodkey DVM; sisters, Mary Suchy, Rose Boyce and husband James, and Mollie Mineard Blackwell and husband Ohma; sister-in-law, Nita Bevington; and several nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Raymond A. Morgan, Sr. who passed away on Nov. 27, 2020; son, Raymond A. Morgan, Jr.; and brothers, Samuel Earl Jr., Donald Broderich, Thomas Jefferson, and Harry Joseph Bevington.

Services will be private.
