John Ferraro
John Ferraro, 95, of Home, PA, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on June 19, 1929 in Beyer, PA, the son of the late Angelo and Mary (Campesano) Ferraro.
John served in the U.S. Airforce in the 9th Airforce Group, 167 squadron and was discharged in 1947. He was a member of the Harmony Grove Lutheran Church. John owned and operated Ferraro Landscaping and was known as "John the Great Water Witcher". He was extremely talented in helping others find water and traveled far and wide to do so. John enjoyed his greenhouse, canning, and especially his Christmas tree farm. He loved Sunday dinners with his family and you never left hungry. For many years, John worked for the Plumville Borough and for Ed Patterson with Indiana Park and Recreation. John will be remembered as never having met a stranger.
His memory will be cherished by his two daughters, Mary Lou Rolls and husband, Dennis, of Home, and Lillie Allison Miller and husband, Jerry, of Rochester Mills; and son, Ralph Joseph Ferraro and wife, Betsy, of Indiana; three grandchildren, John Douglas Ferraro, Jr. and wife, Stephanie, Ralph Joseph Ferraro and wife, Stefanie, and Robert Edward Ferraro and wife, Kate; six great- grandchildren, J.J., Olivia, Emily, Ben, Oliver, and Phillip; and daughter-in-law, Linda Clark Ferraro.
John was preceded in death by his parents; his loving wife, Roma Leona (Allison) Ferraro, who passed away on Sept. 8, 1997; a son, John Douglas Ferraro; sister, Helen Bishop; and brothers, Floyd, Frank, Tony and Joseph Ferraro.
Family will receive friends on Friday, April 11, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. at the Mausoleum in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, 1290 Butler Road, Worthington, PA, 16262.
Entombment will follow in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, PA.
