Doreen B. Clever

Doreen B. Clever, 81, of Kittanning, PA, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 16th, 2024.

She was born February 5, 1943 in Orchard Hills, PA, the daughter of Warren Dale Clever and Twila Ann (Galbraith) Clever.

Doreen was a lifetime resident of the area, attended Elderton High School, worked as a waitress at The Valley Restaurant for many years and retired after as the head cook for Grey's Colonial Acres Personal Care Home. Doreen also gave of her heart and home to be a foster parent for several years. She was a former member of the American Legion and the William Penn Association both of Rural Valley. Dorren enjoyed spending her leisure time working on crossword puzzles and gardening.

She will be remembered with love by her sons, Gary L. Wonderling, Jr. of Rural Valley, Scott A. Wonderling of Rural Valley, and William W. Wonderling of DuBois; grandchildren, Brandy Szczygiel, Gary Boyer, Chytel Eckman, William Wonderling Jr., Cody Wonderling and Paige Plamer; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sister, Shirley Ann Mechling of Ford City; and sister-in-law, Janet Clever, of North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Warren Clever and brother-in-law, Darrell Mechling.

At Doreen's request, services will be private.
