Emerson Clyde Cummins

Emerson Clyde Cummins, 55, of Creekside, PA went to be with his loving wife of eight years on Nov. 18, 2023.

He was born on Feb. 27, 1968 in Armstrong County to the late Betty Jane (Frailey) Dixon and Clyde Cummins.

Emerson was employed numerous years by Gregory A. Perry Trucking who he thought of as a second family. In his spare time you could find him tinkering in the garage or house if he wasn't porch sitting and visiting with neighbors. If you couldn't find him there he was on his side by side taking feed to a few deer that would be waiting for him on the new hunting property. Most of all he loved spending time with his grandkids who will deeply miss him especially when he came bearing cookies and candy.

Emerson leaves behind his daughter, Kaitlyn Potts (Travis), brother, Timothy Cummins (Donna); sister, Sheila Rankin (Don); father and mother-in-law, Don and Linda Mauer; step-daughters, Rebecca Sowers (Luca) and Jamie Williams (Mikey); grandchildren, Olivia and Blake Potts; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Wendy Cummins; mother, Betty Jane Dixon; father, Clyde Cummins; and step-father, William Dixon.

Per Emerson wishes, services will be private.
