Elmira Elizabeth Cobaugh

Elmira Elizabeth Cobaugh, 103, of Templeton, PA formerly of Johnstown, PA, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2023 at Clarview Nursing Home in Sligo, PA.

She was born on June 17, 1920 in Johnstown, Pa. to Charles R. and Mary J. (Hildabrand) Gillin.

Elmira was a homemaker and a devoted member of Conemaugh Church of the Brethren. Her family was the most important element of her life.

Elmira's memory will be cherished by her sons, Jerry Cobaugh and wife, Martha of Templeton, Robert Cobaugh and wife, Lorie of Ft. Collins, CO, and Kevin Cobaugh and wife, Mary Kay of Ft. Collins, CO; a daughter, Lorna Miner and husband, James of Morrisville, NC; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by parents; her husband, Charles D. Cobaugh; brothers, Carl, Chalmer and Dean Gillin; and sisters, Katherine Theil, Alverta Belanto, Marie Stevens, Rhoda Hall, Irene Nicodemus and Leora Grumbling.

Services will be held privately.
