Margaret Dorothy Lazzarine

Margaret Dorothy Lazzarine, age 91, of Bay Village, OH, formerly of Rimersburg, PA went to be with her Lord on Friday, July 27, 2012.

She was born on January 11, 1921 in Toby Twp., Clarion Co., PA, the daughter of Tobias and Margaret (Kochless) Tremba.

Margaret, the youngest in a Hungarian family of ten, lived in the Rimersburg area for the majority of her life. She and her older sister helped their mother take care of domestic duties and their father and six brothers. On January 31, 1938 she married Renaldo "Reno" Lazzarine. After living in Huey, PA for a short time, they relocated to a small home between Rimersburg and Sligo to fulfill Reno's dream of building and owning a service station. With Margaret's committed help with customer service and bookkeeping, Reno was able to develop and expand a 30 year business which included lawnmower sales and service, a school bus route and rental properties. In addition to her family duties, she also cared for her mother and mother-in-law. Margaret found personal enjoyment from working outside the house and reading in her later years. She and Reno were longtime members of Jerusalem United Church of Christ and regularly volunteered their time.

In 1982 Reno suffered his second stroke which prompted business liquidation and move to Bay Village, OH to be near their son, Garry. After Reno's passing in 1997, Margaret lived with her son until January of 2010 when her own health issues necessitated a move to a nearby fully-assisted care facility until her passing. Margaret was currently a member of Hope Christian Church in Avon, OH.

Margaret's legacy is one of selfless sacrifice for her family and faith in God. She was the glue that always held the family together, especially in difficult times. Margaret will be remembered for having a servant's heart and for being a caring support for anyone who needed it.

She will be deeply missed by her son, Garry L. Lazzarine and wife, Penny, of Bay Village, OH; grandchildren, Amy Bryar and Bridgette Mallick; great-grandchildren, Grace and Jack Bryar; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband of 59 years, Renaldo "Reno" Lazzarine; brothers, Ralph, William, Tobias, Gust, Oscar and John Tremba; and sister, Matilda Culbertson.

Relatives and friends will be received from 7-8 PM on Tuesday, July, 31, 2012 at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main Street, Rimersburg.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the funeral home with the Rev. Dr. John Gareis officiating.

Burial will be in Rimersburg Cemetery, Rimersburg, Clarion Co., PA.
