Rosalie S. Whiteman

Rosalie S. Whiteman, 81, of Kittanning, PA passed away at her home on Saturday, March 14, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on Sept. 21, 1944 in Kittanning, PA; the daughter of Richard M. and Adda P. (Kuhn) Shearer.

Rosalie graduated from Kittanning High School and attended Walkchalk Salem Baptist Church. She loved mowing her grass, doing crossword puzzles, word searches and reading her Bible. Being with her children and grandchildren made Rosalie the happiest and they will always remember her beautiful smile, her laughter and especially her kind heart.

Her memory will be treasured by her daughters, Julie Jordan of Kittanning, Becky (Mitch) Smith of Apollo, Vickie Walter of New Brighton and Christy Walter of Worthington; sister, Shawnee (John) Boltz of Worthington; brother, Pressley "Richard" (Michele) Shearer of Kittanning; grandchildren, Kelsey, Brianna, Shawn (Keely), Karra (Jake), Justin (Harly), Jess (Rachel), Danielle (Jacob); great-grandchildren, Brynlee, Julia Rose, Lainey, Nova, Bearett, Ivan, Weston, Charlee, Huntley, Hutton, Ivy, Tate and Tyler; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews

Rosalie was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Richard Whiteman who died February 17, 2015; brother, Cary Max Shearer; and her beloved dog, Nikki Jo.

Family and friends will be received from 2 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM on Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 North McKean Street, Kittanning, PA.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Walkchalk Salem Baptist Church, 1006 Butler Rd., Kittanning, PA with Rev. Mike Bowser officiating.

Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, PA.

Contributions may be made in Rosalie's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
