Robert C. "Bob" Bowser

Robert C. "Bob" Bowser, 91, of Rimersburg, PA, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 14, 2025 at ACMH in Kittanning, PA.

He was born July 24, 1934 in Rimersburg, PA, the son of Howard and Garnet (Crissman) Bowser.

Bob was a lifelong resident of Rimersburg and a member of Rimersburg Presbyterian Church. For 34 years, he was a mechanic at the Ford Garage in Rimersburg. Bob and his wife, Marie, owned the Rimersburg Exxon station for many years and he also worked at Magness Garage and the Archway Cookie plant. He loved Harley motorcycles and antique cars, and enjoyed attending car shows with his wife.

His memory will be cherished by his son, Larry Bowser and wife, Regina, of Shippenville; daughters, Laurie Schumacher and husband, John, of East Brady, Linda McNany of Chicora, and Lesa Grazier and husband, Scott, of Butler; grandchildren, Dena Crawford and husband Chad, Amanda Salizzoni and husband Brad, Katie Schumacher, Dustin Robinson, Andrew Robinson and wife Beatriz, Shane Robinson, Jake McNany, Caleb McNany, and Chloe Curtis and husband Austin and Afton Bowser and fiancé Jayce; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Marie A. (Rainey) Bowser, whom he married February 10, 1958 and who died March 14, 2017; brother, James Bowser; and sisters, Betty Craig and Helen Priester; and son-in-law, Brent McNany.

Family and friends will be received from 6-8 PM on Thursday, October 16, 2025 at Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main St., Rimersburg, PA.

Additional visitation will take place from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Friday, October 17, 2025 at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc, 758 Main Street, Rimersburg, PA, with the Rev. Gary Guntrum officiating.

Interment will be in Rimersburg Cemetery, Rimersburg, PA.
