Gloria Plants

Gloria Plants, 85, of Ford City and Kittanning, PA, passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025 at Quality Life Services - Sugarcreek.

She was born on April 1, 1940 in Kittanning, PA; the daughter of Charles David Plants and Maxine Rosella (Marshall) Straight.

Gloria graduated from Kittanning High School in 1958. She worked as a book keeper for Good Brothers Tire for many years and volunteered with the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary during the 1990's. Gloria looked forward to family holidays, cookouts and outings. She enjoyed living by herself and watching Lifetime, Hallmark, and KDKA.

Her memory will be cherished by her brother, David K. Plants and wife, Sally of Kittanning; nieces, Stacey Plants and Sybil Plants; and great-nephew, Jayden Plants.
She was preceded in death by her parents and step-father, Thomas L. Straight.

Family and friends will be received from 2 - 4 PM on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2025 at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, Pa.

Funeral Services will be private.

Interment will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, PA.
