Clinton J. "Clint" Kough
Clinton J. "Clint" Kough, 31, of Shelocta, PA passed away on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from injuries sustained in an accident at his homeBorn on Oct. 25, 1994 in Indiana, PA, Clint was son of Dennis W. Kough "Weed" and Lisa M. (Minteer) Kough.
Clint graduated from Lenape Area Vocational-Technical School in 2012 after completing the automotive technology program, and later graduated from WyoTech with a degree in diesel mechanics. He was employed at Keystone Power Plant and had previously worked as a diesel mechanic for Hunter's and Norfolk Southern. Clint was also a knowledgeable electrician with a talent for fixing anything mechanical. He was the go-to person for anyone who needed something fixed or worked on.
Clint was always on the move and had a love of history, especially trains. He took great pride in his 1976 Ford F250 and the numerous tractors he rebuilt. Clint enjoyed spending time outdoors walking the trails with his dog, Smokey and traveling with his brother, Jacob.
His memory will be cherished by his father, Dennis W. Kough "Weed" of Shelocta; mother, Lisa M. (Minteer) Kough of Kittanning; brother, Jacob W. Kough of Shelocta; maternal grandmother, Verna B. (Wingard) Minteer of Kittanning; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Wayne E. and Betty Lou (Anderson) Kough and his maternal grandfather Clarence S. Minteer.
Friends and family will be received from 1 to 3 PM and from 5 to 7 PM on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at the Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home, Inc., 238 S. Main Street, Elderton, PA
Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Monday, May 4, 2026 at the Clark Chapel of Bauer Funeral Home with Rev. Joyce Dix-Weiers, STS officiating.
Interment will be in Mt. Union Lutheran Cemetery, Shelocta, PA.
