Brian L. Bowser

Brian Leroy Bowser, 65, of Kittanning, PA, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 28, 2026.

Born on Sept. 26, 1960 in Kittanning, PA; he was the son of Franklin Louis and Anna Elizabeth (Brendlinger) Bowser.

To his lifelong friends, he was best known as "Chuck" or "Charlie". Brian graduated from Kittanning High and Lenape Vo-Tech in 1978. He worked as a self-employed owner/operator truck driver for more than 40 years and hauled milk for his dad at Bowser Milk Hauling, a career he took pride in and dedicated much of his life to.

Brian enjoyed fishing, being outdoors and spending time at his camp "It's About Time" in the mountains of Wilcox, PA. He was an avid fan of Pittsburgh sports and NASCAR, and he loved Harley-Davidson motorcycles, John Wayne films and going to the casino. Above all, he valued time spent with family and friends.

He will be remembered for his big personality, his unmistakable laugh, and his even bigger heart. Anyone who knew Brian knew he left an impression.

He is survived by his daughter, Summer Bowser; grandchildren, Cash and Caylee; his sisters, Robin (Dave) Toy and Marsha (Larry) Davis; as well as extended family who shared in his life, and close friends who were like family.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his nephew, Jason Toy.

Friends and family will be received from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM on Sunday, May 3, 2026, at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of services at 11 AM on Monday, May 4, 2026 at the Bauer Funeral Home with Rev. Robert F. Hindman officiating.

Interment will be in Center Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Kittanning, PA
