John R. "Johnny" Bowser

John R. "Johnny" Bowser, 36, of Rimersburg, PA, passed away on Sept. 9, 2026 at his home.

He was born on Aug. 18, 1990 in Clarion, PA; the son of John E. Bowser and the late Kimberly Ann (Brown) Bowser.

Johnny worked in construction as a drywall finisher. He enjoyed rock music, skateboarding, snowboarding, and playing video games. He especially enjoyed fishing and camping with his brother, Dylan. Johnny had a love for the Power Rangers and superheroes, and he enjoyed watching Marvel and DC movies and television shows. He was also an avid Harry Potter fan, enjoying both the books and movies. Johnny will be lovingly remembered for being loyal, always willing to listen, and his kind heart.

His memory will be cherished by his father, John E. Bowser and wife, Janel of Brookville; brothers, Dylan L. Bowser of Rimersburg, Jamie D. Bowser of Strattanville, and Thomas J. Bowser and wife, Brianna of Erie; sister, Alyxie C. Hill and husband, Dalton of Clinton; step-brother, Christian A. Tetlow of Brookville; and his step-sisters, Amanda B. Tetlow of Brookville and Tiara N. Tetlow of Brookville.

Johnny is also survived by his paternal grandmother, Carol Bowser and husband, Denny Billotte of Parker; Maternal Grandparents, Robert and Pamela Brown of Rimersburg; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Johnny was preceded in death by his mother; and his paternal grandfather, John Bowser.

Family and friends will be received from 5 PM until the time of services at 7 PM on Monday, Sept. 14, 2026 at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main Street, Rimersburg.
