Arnold E. "Arny" McKinney

Arnold E. "Arny" McKinney, 75, of Rimersburg, PA, passed away on Thursday Oct. 22, 2026 at AHN Grove City Hospital.

He was born on Jan. 9, 1951 in Brookville, PA; the son of Max E. and Marie Jean (Carrier) McKinney

Arny was a 1968 graduate of Union High School. He worked as an equipment manager for Francis J. Palo Contracting and was previously employed for many years with Bracken Construction. Arny loved NASCAR and enjoyed going to the races with his wife, Cathy. They enjoyed traveling and loved the trips to Branson, Missouri, and Nashville. Arny liked to keep busy and was always working on something. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and loved to go to camp with his boys. He will be lovingly remembered for his kind heart, his willingness to help others and his sense of humor.

His memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Cathy (Switzer) McKinney, whom he married on June 19, 1993; his sons, Raymond A. McKinney and wife, Shontell of New Bethlehem and Randal J. McKinney and wife, Mandi of Sligo; grandchildren, Bethany, Jason, Danikah, and Bentley; great-grandchildren, Carter and Landry; brother, Merle McKinney and wife, Judy of Erie; sister, Thelma Stewart and husband, Karl Dean of Rimersburg, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Arny was preceded in death by his parents, two grandsons, Karter Kash and Klayton Blane; a brother, Paul A. McKinney; and a sister, Joyce Kennedy.

The family will receive friends from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 on Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026 at Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 758 Main St., Rimersburg, PA.

Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2026, at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home, with Rev. Tim Shimmons officiating.

Interment will be in Rimersburg Cemetery, Rimersburg, PA
