Marcella L. (Kriebel) Anthony
Marcella L. (Kriebel) Anthony, 92, of Rimersburg, PA, went into her Lord and Savior's arms on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at Edgewood Heights in New Bethlehem, PA. She was surrounded by her loving family.Born on April 18, 1934 in West Monterey (Pickert Valley), she was the daughter of the late Edmirle and Dorothy (Lineman) Kriebel.
Marcella married Bernard D. Anthony on June 28, 1952. They celebrated 65 years together until his passing on April 7, 2017.
She is survived by her sons, Bradley (Carolyn) Anthony of New Bethlehem, Kevin (Joyce) Anthony of East Brady; daughters, Lexie (Randy) Bryant and Cindy (Ben) Campbell both of New Bethlehem, Brenda (Eddie) Moore of Fishers, IN, and Tammy (Tom) McClaine of New Bethlehem; 16 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren with one on the way; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She had a great love for her siblings, and is survived by Grant (Jerry) Kriebel, Larry (Ruby) Kriebel, Janet (Jim) McCauley, Joan Taylor, Judy (Jim) Hook, and her sister-in-law, Wilma (Paul) Bonnett.
Preceding her death were her siblings, Eugene, John, Jerry, Dick, Blaine, Carl, and Betty Kriebel and daughter-in-law, Cathy Anthony.
Marcella had a love for her church, the Baker Street Church of God. She was a great prayer warrior. She enjoyed singing in the church choir and attending Whitehall Camp in Emlenton all her life, until her health made it too hard. She was a release time education teacher for Union School district for seven years. Marcella would babysit and do housework for friends. She enjoyed playing cards, word search and having meals at the Korner Restaurant. Her greatest joy came knowing her six children have a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Marcella's family would like to thank Dr. Semeyn and Associates, the staff at Edgewood Heights and the Hospice girls at VNA.
Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 PM on Friday, May 1, 2026 at Baker Street Church of God, 160 Veteran St., Rimersburg, PA.
Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Saturday, May 2, 2026 at Baker Street Church of God, with the Rev. John A. Milliron officiating.
Interment will be in Rimersburg Cemetery, Rimersburg, PA.
