Frank L. Fitzgerald

Frank L. Fitzgerald, 49, of Rimersburg, PA passed away on Sunday, June 8, 2025, as a result of an accident that occurred on Memorial Day.

He was born on July 7, 1975 in Washington, PA; the son of Lloyd L. Clemens and Anna Byrne Fitzgerald.

Frank worked for Hetrick Plumbing and Heating. He loved NASCAR and enjoyed watching the Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins with son, Shawn. His other favorite things to do were hunting and fishing. He was a caring person who took great pride in helping others in town.

His memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Gail M. (Hawk) Fitzgerald, whom he married on Aug. 19, 2016; two sons, Shawn Fitzgerald of Rimersburg and Jordan Irwin of Washington, PA; a daughter, April Irwin of Washington, PA; three grandchildren; two brothers, James Clemens and Connie, of New Bethlehem, PA and Lloyd "Bud" Clemens, Jr. and wife, Vera, of Claysville, PA; three sisters, Tracy Foflygen and husband, Ken, of Brave, PA, Susie Jenkins and husband, Larry, of Washington, PA, and Joyce; and several nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Carol; a good friend, Robert "Noodle" Corle; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 758 Main Street, Rimersburg

Additional visitation will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at 10 a.m. until the time of funeral services at 11 a.m. with the Rev. John A. Milliron officiating.

Interment will be in Tidal Cemetery, Tidal, PA.
