James L. "Jim" King

It is with great sadness that we share the passing of James L. "Jim" King, 74, of Sandy Lake, PA formerly of Ford City, PA.

He was born in Kittanning on June 14, 1950 to Richard E. and Rose Mary (Klingensmith) King. Jim grew up in Ford City and graduated in 1968 from Ford City High School. He moved to Sandy Lake and worked at PPG until his retirement at 62 years old. Jim was an avid hunter, fisherman, gardener and bicyclist.

His memory will be cherished by his sister, Nancy (Gary) Panchik; nieces, Kara (Mark) Berger and Anne Daymut; nephew, Andrew Panchik; Brother-in-law, David Livengood; many great nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Tori. He is also survived by his friends of 50 years, Titus, John, Jim, Dan and numerous other friends who have been part of his life in Sandy Lake.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his sister, Linda Livengood.

Honoring Jim's wishes, there will be no viewing or services.
