Pamela Jean Highduchek Casada

Pamela Jean Highduchek Casada, 66, of Indiana, PA., passed away on Tuesday, Nov. 28, 2023 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA surrounded by her loving family.

She was born Jan. 31, 1957 in Westmoreland County, PA.

Pamela was previously employed at Woodford Oil in Elkins, WV. She lived the last 30 years in Indiana County and worked with her husband as a painter. She attended the Mt. Zion Church of Girty and was strong in faith and an avid follow of Jesus. Pamela enjoyed watching old movies and was an animal lover; she enjoyed taking care of her dogs. She loved caring for her family, her grandchildren and everyone around her.

Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband, Sherman H. Casada, whom she married in 2004; her children, Pearl Lynn Highduchek of NC, Jean Ann Highduchek of Home, PA, Tracie Highduchek of Indiana, PA, Raymond (Amanda) Highduchek of AL, Charles Highduchek of Indiana, PA, Jenny (GJ) Grissinger of SC, and Jason Casada of Indiana, PA; 14 grandchildren and one great-grandchildren.

Family and friends will be received from 10 AM until the time of services at 12 PM on Friday, Dec. 1, 2023 at Mt. Zion Church of Girty, 449 Girty Rd., Shelocta, PA with Brenda Summerville Schall officiating.

Interment will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Shelocta, PA.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home, PO Box 997, Kittanning, PA 16201 to help the family with funeral expenses.
