Anne S. Frederick

Anne S. Frederick, 78, of Kittanning, died Monday, April 2, 2012 at Rivercliff Terrace Annex, Kittanning, PA.

She was born on August 19, 1933 in West Kittanning, the daughter of K. Ben Schotte, Jr. and Virginia (Zehring) Schotte.

Anne was a lifetime resident of Kittanning and graduated from Kittanning High School in 1951. After high school she attended Marietta College for three years and worked as the secretary for St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Kittanning, where she was also a member, for 28 years. She was also employed as the secretary for the Armstrong County Daycare before her retirement in 1997. Music was an important part of Anne's life and she carried out her gift by serving as the organist for her church and the accompanist for the Armstrong County Choraliers for 24 years. Anne's servant's heart was also showcased through her years of volunteering at Haven. Other hobbies of Anne's were reading, craftwork and needlepoint. She loved being a mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and all who knew her will always remember her giving and caring spirit.

She will be greatly missed by her son, William C. Frederick and wife, Sonya, of Kittanning; daughters, Kathy L. Reich and husband, Ernest, and Elizabeth A. Zwilling, both of Kittanning; seven grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.

Anne was preceded in death by her parents and sons, John S. and James A. Frederick.

The family will receive friends from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 PM on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 North McKean Street, Kittanning, PA.

Funeral services will be at 11 AM on Thursday, April 5, 2012 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, 112 N. Water Street, Kittanning with the Rev. Kathy LaLonde officiating.

Burial will be in Kittanning Cemetery, Rayburn Twp., Armstrong Co., PA.
