Sherry Lynn Vasbinder

Sherry Lynn Vasbinder, 61, of Rimersburg, PA, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 13, 2025 at Butler Memorial Hospital.

She was born on Dec. 29, 1963 in Clarion, PA; the daughter of Richard U. and Leona (Phillips) Hornberger.

Sherry was a lifelong resident of the Rimersburg area. She worked as a cashier at Subway at the Citgo in Rimersburg and had previously been employed at the Archway Cookie Plant in Rimersburg, as well as at Trader Horn in Clarion for many years. She also spent time cooking at Hillcrest. Sherry loved spending quiet moments doing diamond painting, and was a wonderful cook whose spaghetti was a favorite among family.

Her memory will be cherished by her loving husband, Donald Vasbinder, whom she married on May 27, 2000; her mother, Leona Hornberger of Rimersburg; son, Matthew Hornberger of Rimersburg; brothers, Barry Hornberger of Callensburg and Terry Eugene Hornberger of Rimersburg; and her sister, Tammy Craig and husband, Randell of Rimersburg.

Sherry was preceded in death by her father; and a brother, Richard Carl Hornberger.

Per Sherri's wishes, services will be private.
