Kenneth T. "Ken" Rupp
Kenneth T. Rupp, 82, of Templeton, PA, passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born March 30, 1943 in Boggs Twp., Armstrong Co., PA, the son of Kenneth M. "Jack" Rupp and Bessie E. (Oliver) Rupp.
Ken lived in Armstrong County for most of his life and graduated from Dayton High School in 1961. He honorably served in the US Army in Germany during the Vietnam War and later was employed as a truck driver for 25 years. Following his retirement in 1995, Ken worked in Valray Nurseries, Inc. in Kittanning and Shannock Hardware in Rural Valley, PA.
He attended Oakland Church of God in Distant and enjoyed being involved with the congregation. Ken loved taking trips to Lancaster, PA with his wife, Mary. They traveled to the area more than 30 times during their 51 years of marriage and especially looked forward to visiting the Sights and Sounds Theater. Ken also liked vacationing at the North Carolina beaches with his family.
Ken will be remembered by his son, Bruce R. Rupp of Smithfield, NC; daughters, Karen M. Rupp and fiancé John Toperzer and Dianne R. Morris and husband Todd, all of Kittanning; grandchildren, Philip and fiancé Misty, Rebecca and husband Rich, and Nicholas; great-grandchild, Carter; daughter-in-law, Patty Rupp of Goheenville; and sisters, Joan B. Flick and husband Wendall, of Ford Cliff, and Cathy B. Shaw of Ford City.
He was preceded in death by his parents; loving wife, Mary L. (Guntrum) Rupp, whom he married June 25, 1966 and who died Oct. 2, 2017; son, Mark A. Rupp, who died Nov. 21, 2024; brother, Homer J. Rupp; and sisters, Rosalie A. Rupp and Constance "Connie" Wilson.
The family will receive friends from 12 PM until the time of services at 4 PM on Sunday, June 22, 2025, at the Bauer Funeral Home, 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, PA with the Rev. James Swogger officiating.
Interment will be privately held at Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, PA.
The family would like to thank Butler Memorial Hospital for the outstanding care provided from the doctors, nurses and staff members.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given in Ken's memory to the Oakland Church of God Building Fund, PO Box 40, Distant, PA 16223.
