Terry L. Peters

Terry L. Peters, 72, of Shelocta, PA passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2025 at UPMC East in Monroeville, PA.

He was born on Sept. 21, 1952 in Kittanning, PA; the son of Thomas and Hazel (Jones) Peters.

Terry was a 1970 graduate of Elderton High School and a lifelong resident of the Plumcreek Township. He was a hard working family man and the owner of T. Peters Construction. Terry enjoyed what he did, and would lend a helping hand to anyone. He enjoyed hunting, gardening, and fishing, but he loved his family and his hot rod a 1950 Ford F100.

His memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Debbie (Bowersox) Peters, whom he married on Oct. 10, 1975; son, Ben Peters and wife, Nina of Shelocta; daughter, Stephanie S. Peters of Rural Valley; and his granddaughters, Alyssa Peters and husband, Chris Mazur and Emily Peters.

Terry is also survived by his brothers, Joseph Peters and wife, Julie of Shelocta and Jeff Peters of Kittanning; and his sisters, Patricia Hoffman and husband, Ken of Brush Valley, Linda Davis of Shelocta, and Janet Seigfried and husband, Bruce of Avella.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Thomas Peters.

Friends and family will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at Clark Chapel of the Bauer Funeral Home, 238 S. Main Street, Elderton, PA.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the funeral home.

Interment will be in Elderton Cemetery, Elderton, PA.
