Arlene C. Traister

Arlene C. Traister, 93, of Kittanning, PA, passed away on Monday, Sept. 25, 2023 at Armstrong County Memorial Hospital in Kittanning, PA.

She was born July 19, 1930 in Crates, PA, to Clyde James and Grace Iona (Clinger) Aaron.

Arlene was a homemaker and a lifelong resident of Armstrong County. She was a member of Faith Cathedral. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, flowers and gardening. Arlene loved to travel with her friends, read her Bible, and her true love was spending time with her family.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory five sons, William Traister and wife Gail of New Bethlehem, Larry Traister of Templeton, George Traister and wife, Kathy of Templeton, Kenneth Traister and wife, Bonnie of Edinboro, PA, Edgar Traister and wife, Joyce of Templeton; three daughters, Carolyn Anthony and husband, Bradley of New Bethlehem, Kathy Wright and husband, Jeff of Templeton, Connie Reedy and husband Neal of New Bethlehem; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; brother, Tom Aaron of Mayport; sisters Delores Shoupe of North Carolina and Francis Carnathan of Clarion.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Leonard Traister; a great-grandson, Connor Traister and a brother, Joe Aaron.

Family will receive friends from 5 to 9 PM on Wednesday, Sept. 27 2023 at Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning.

Additional visitation will be held from 10 AM until time of services at 11 AM on Thursday, Sept. 28, 2023 at Faith Cathedral, 149 Rau Drive, Kittanning, PA with her son, Rev. Kenneth Traister and her son-in-law Rev. Neal Reedy officiating

Interment will be at Cochran Cemetery, Templeton, PA.
