Jennifer Eve Kohl

Jennifer Eve Kohl, 75, of Kittanning, PA, passed away on Monday, July 17, 2023 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

She was born on Dec. 21, 1947 in Harrison Twp., Allegheny Co., PA, the daughter of Edwin L. and Ann G. (Katanchick) McCready.

Jennifer graduated from Kittanning High School and from Penn State University where she earned her associate's degree in mechanical engineering. She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church where she volunteered and could often be found preparing the communion offering. She was a Penn State Master Gardner, a member of the Kittanning Garden Club and a founding member of the Women Who Wine. Jennifer volunteered at Andy Warhol Museum and WQED. Her greatest passions were gardening, family and her grandchildren.

Her memory will be cherished by children, Michelle L. Wurzer and husband, Tim of New Castle, Wendell Steven Davis and wife, Wendy of Greensburg, Christian T. Davis and wife, Dawn of Ford City; step-children, Kristina Yankell and husband, Morris of Morristown, NJ, David C. Kohl of Kittanning, Paul M. Kohl and wife, Traci of Philadelphia, and John H. Kohl and wife, Karen of York; grandchildren, Jan Conner Koss, Josh Yankell, Madeline Yankell, Anna Davis, Julia Davis, Kathryn Cousins and husband, Dallas, Grace Kohl, Kofi Kohl, Kai Kohl, Jared Kohl, Harris Kohl, and Alexandra Kohl; five great-grandchildren; her brother, George S. McCready and wife, Gina of Pearland, TX; and her precious little dog, Lu Lu.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, Dr. David H. Kohl, who passed away on Jan. 9, 2008; a brother, Edwin L. McCready III; and her beloved dog, Mimi.

Family and friends will be received from 2 PM until the time of memorial services at 4PM on Saturday, July 29, 2023 at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning. with Rev. Carl A. Johnson officiating.

Interment will be in Kittanning Cemetery, Kittanning, PA.
