Cody James Ballock

Cody James Ballock, 32, of Cowansville, PA, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023 at his home.

He was born April 4, 1990 in Pittsburgh, PA, the beloved son of Paul Brian Pash and Kelly Ballock.

Cody graduated from PA Cyber School in 2007. He was a proud member of the U.S. Army 101 Airborne Division Screaming Eagles serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom. Cody was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, the Global War of Terrorism Service Medal, the Iraq Campaign Medal, Campaign Star, Army Service Ribbon, Combat Infantryman Badge, and the Expert Infantryman Badge.

Cody enjoyed riding motorcycles, listening to music that fit his mood, and spending time with his beloved children, Cage and Kyla and his dog, Harley. He will be remembered as a loving father, son, grandson, nephew and brother.

He will be forever missed by loving mother, Kelly J. Ballock; his father, Paul Pash; his son, Cage J. Ballock; daughter, Kyla G. Ballock; brother, Garrett P. Farinelli and wife, Kristine; half-sister, Jennifer Neupert; and his maternal grandparents, Denny "Pap" and Connie "Gub" Ballock. His memory will also be cherished by his Uncle Denny "Unc" (Susan) Ballock, Aunt Dawn "Bebe" (Sam) Piper; cousins, Sam and Joshua Piper; many cousins, family and friends.

Cody is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, E.J. and Gladys Fay Pash; and his step-father, Richard Earl.

Family and friends will gather from 3 PM until the time of services at 7 PM on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023, at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, PA with Pastor Samuel Piper, Jr. officiating. Military honors will be presented by the American Legion Honor Guard.

Arrangements are being handled by Funeral Director Sam Piper and the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc.
