Patricia E. "Patty" Woodside

Patricia E. "Patty" Woodside, 61, of Pine Hill, NJ passed away on Thursday, April 15, 2021 at Virtua Voorhees Hospital in New Jersey.

She was born on June 9, 1959, in Kittanning, Pa. to John Dale and Doris Elaine (Robinson) Woodside.

Patty was a 1977 graduate of Ford City High School. She worked for CSX Railroad in Philadelphia for 35 years, first as a draw bridge operator and later retiring as Yardmaster in 2020. She was a member of the Good Shephard Church in Lindenwold, NJ where she was very active. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, needlepoint crafts, painting and doing crossword puzzles. She loved her cats, collected tea pots, watched documentary shows, and listening to gospel music. Patty will be lovingly remembered for her favorite Bible verse, Psalm 139, for being friends with everyone, for always being in a great mood and had forever carrying a smile.

Her memory will be cherished by her mother, Doris E. Woodside of Ford City; her brothers, Roger N. Woodside and wife, Amy of Ford City and Eric D. Woodside and wife, Barb of Apollo; and her niece, Sonya Woodside and husband, Michael.

Patty was preceded in death by her father; her brother, Mark Woodside and a nephew, Robert L. Woodside.

Friends will be received on Wednesday, April 21, 2021, from 10 AM until the time of the funeral service at 11 AM at St. Michael's Lutheran Church, 2264 Garretts Run Road, Ford City, with Rev. Barbara E. Love officiating.

Due to current regulations, all social distancing guidelines will be followed. Guests are respectfully asked to wear a mask or face covering.

Interment will be in the Brick Church Cemetery, Ford City, PA.
