Ronald Eugene Blystone

Ronald Eugene Blystone, 60, of Indiana, PA, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 at UPMC Shadyside Hospital with his wife by his side.

He was born in Kittanning, PA on November 25, 1953, to Owen C. and Dillie (Leightley) Blystone.

Ron worked as a truck driver for Force, Inc. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also had a passion for Nascar racing, demolition derby events, and wrestling. Ron enjoyed being around people and sharing his great sense of humor. He will be remembered for being a caring and loving husband and a kind friend to those who had the pleasure to know him.

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 37 years Carol (Riendeau) Blystone whom he married on October 23, 1976; one sister, Linda (Blystone) Briere of Greenville, NC; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Donald Owen Blystone, Clair D. Blystone, Albert D. Blystone, and Raymond Paul Blystone; two sisters, Ruth E. Toy and Deloris J. Pierce; and two half-brothers, Homer Shupe and Charles Shupe.

Relatives and friends may visit from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM on Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at the Clark Chapel Funeral Home, 238 South Main Street, Elderton, PA.

Additional visitation will be held from 10-11 AM on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the funeral home until the time of funeral service at 11 AM with Preacher Albert Brown officiating.

Burial will follow in Whitesburg Presbyterian Cemetery, Armstrong County, PA.
