Brian C. Rummel

Brian C. Rummel, 49, of North Ridgeville, OH, passed away Monday, August 26, 2013 as a result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

He was born June 1, 1964 in Parma, OH. Brian worked for The Lubrizol Corporation. He loved his family, and enjoyed spending time with people. Brian was a naturalist and an animal advocate, and enjoyed competition showing of dogs, horses, cattle, yard work and gardening.

Survivors include a daughter, Ashley N. Rummel (fiance Jenyaa Taylor) of Elyria; his parents, Raymond and Aldean (Stockdale) Rummel, of Hamilton, PA. Additional survivors include two sisters, Debbie D. Walker (Ron) of Cranberry, PA, and Kimberley D. Neigh (Greg) of Punxsutawney, PA; three nieces, Nicole, Kimberley and Grace; and two nephews, Cameron and Austin; aunts; and an uncle. The family received friends from 3-7 PM on Thursday at The Laubenthal-Mercado Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Elyria, OH.

A graveside service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Dayton Glade Run Presbyterian Church Cemetery, 2534 Dayton Smicksburg Road, Dayton, PA with the Rev. Melissa Goodman officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made in Brian's memory to a charity of the donor's choice.
