Rosemarie Bowser

Rosemarie Bowser, 85, of Kittanning, PA, of Kittanning, PA, passed away Friday, January 27, 2023, at Kittanning Care Center.

She was born on June 5, 1937 in Kittanning, PA, to Albert and Helen (Walbert) Haponsky.

Rosemarie graduated from Ford City High School in 1956 and was a lifelong resident of Armstrong County. She was a member of St. Mary Our Lady of Guadalupe Roman Catholic Church in Kittanning. She worked 23 years in the dietary department for A.C.M.H. Rosemarie enjoyed vacationing with her husband, watching television, reading and crossword puzzles. She loved to spend time with her grandson, Nick and her great-grandsons.

Her memory will be cherished by her daughter, Allison Zimmerman and husband, Kurt of Kittanning; grandson, Nicholas H. Lloyd and wife, Leah of Kittanning; two step-grandchildren, K. Douglas Zimmerman and Kristen Frye; and two great-grandchildren, Duncan and Landan Lloyd.

Rosemarie was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Henry R. Bowser, who she married on November 28, 1964 and who passed away on Sept. 11, 2003.

Services will be held privately.

Memorial contributions may be given in Rosemarie's memory to the Kittanning Library, 280 N. Jefferson St., Kittanning, Pa. 16201.
