Erma Larue Fennell

Erma Larue (Eckman) Fennell, age 80, of Kittanning, PA., died Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at Premier Armstrong Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.

She was born on March 4, 1942 in Sagamore, Armstrong Co., PA to Richard Ivan Eckman and Margaret Ellen (Magle) Eckman.

Mrs. Fennell was a member of the North Buffalo Grace Brethren Church and was a former member of the Victory Baptist Church and the Freedom Baptist Church. She recently attended the Salvation Army Church. For several years she was employed with the Progressive Workshop. Erma was a Kittanning resident most of her life and also previously lived in Sagamore for 20 years. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and word search books.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth L. Fennell of Kittanning, PA; a brother, Joseph D. Eckman and his wife Donna of Kittanning, PA; one sister, Shirley Matthews of Pennsylvania; and her best friend, Barb Carney and her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Robert Eckman, Ronald Eckman, and an infant brother, Donald Eckman; and sisters, Betty Fairman, and Jean Yount.

The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM on Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022 at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 North McKean Street, Kittanning, PA. Funeral services will follow at 1 PM with the Pastor Joshua Webb officiating.

Interment will be at Lawn Haven Burial Estates in E. Franklin Twp., Armstrong Co., PA.
