William Clarence Slagle

William Clarence Slagle, 74, of Kittanning, PA, passed away on Friday, Sept. 2, 2022 at Good Samaritan Hospice in Cabot, PA.

He was born on Feb. 17, 1948 in Kittanning, PA, the son of Charles E. and Aldine M. "Dean" (Wonderling) Slagle.

William was a lifelong resident of the Kittanning area. He was an honorary member of Hose Company #6 in Kittanning, PA. William enjoyed puzzles, yardwork, and gardening. He will be lovingly remembered as a very caring uncle to his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He is survived by his brothers Charles E. "Chuck" Slagle and wife, Barbara of Worthington, PA and Thomas D. Slagle and wife, Deborah of Kittanning, PA; one sister, Connie L. Johnson and husband, D. Robert of Heath, OH; eight nieces and nephews, Robert, Tonda, Debbie, BJ, Carrie, Katie, Tom, and Chris; and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews.

William was preceded in death by his parents.

Family and friends will be received from 2 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM on Monday, Sept. 5, 2022 at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning, Pa.

Additional visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2022 at the Bauer Funeral Home with Rev. Dana Opps officiating.

Interment will be at Slate Lick Cemetery, Slate Lick, PA.
