William L. Miller

William L. "Bill" Miller, 72, of Bruin, PA, passed away on Friday, April 2, 2021, at West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh.

He was born December 27, 1948 in Butler, PA, the son of Robert D. and Huguette B. (Gueslin) Miller.

Bill spent his youth in Petrolia but lived in Bruin for most of his life. He graduated from Karns City High School in 1966 and worked at Indspec for 32 years. Bill was a member of Petrolia Evangelical Presbyterian Church. For many years, Bill and his wife, Cherrie, were snowbirds, and loved traveling to Florida. He was a car enthusiast, a history buff and enjoyed playing the guitar.

His memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Cherrie J. (Merryman) Miller, whom he married December 25, 1989; daughter, Charity S. Demit and husband, Jeff, of Slippery Rock; five grandchildren, Savanah Gordon, Samanthia Sutton, Sarah Sutton, Jacki Sutton, and DJ Sutton; and sisters, Chantal J. Knappenberger and husband, Fred, of Saxonburg, Charlene S. Miller, of Chicora, and Bonnie Pendergast and husband, Mike, of Pittsburgh.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, John A. and Richard Miller; and one infant brother.

At Bill's request, services will be private.

Burial will be in Bear Creek Cemetery, Petrolia, PA.
