Leonard B. Fulmer, of Smicksburg, PA passed away on Thursday, May 30, 2019, at his home surrounded by his family.

Leonard was born on Nov. 10, 1929 in Armstrong Township, Indiana County, PA to E. Blaine and Viola E. (Dibler) Fulmer.

Leonard honorably served in the United States Army Air Corps during the Korean conflict. After almost 32 years, he retired from U.S. Steel-American Bridge Division. He spent many years providing transportation for the Amish. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time outdoors. He was of Methodist faith.

His memory will be cherished by his son, Walter B. Fulmer and wife, Gerrie of Boyers, PA; his daughter, Carolyn Hartzell and husband, Richard of Smicksburg; son-in-law, Robert Wright of Cranberry Township, PA; eleven grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Leonard is preceded in death by parents; his wife, Peggy L. (Jamison) Fulmer; a son, George Steven Fulmer; and a daughter, Shirley Wright.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at the Bauer Bly Funeral Home, Inc., 125 East Main Street, Dayton, PA.

Additional visitation will be from 1 PM until time of services at 2 PM on Sunday, June 2, 2019, at the funeral home, with his granddaughter, the Pastor Sheila Derr.

Interment will be in the Smicksburg Lutheran Cemetery, West Mahoning Township, PA where military honors will be presented by Armstrong County American Legion Honor Guard.
