Margaret A. "Peggy" Cook

Margaret A. "Peggy" Cook, of Shelocta, PA, passed away Saturday, October 21, 2017 at her home surrounded by her loving family, one day shy of her 54th birthday.

She was born October 22, 1963 in Natrona Heights, PA, the daughter of Louis V. and Dorothy (Goedicke) Uptegraph.

Peggy enjoyed baking and made delicious fudge for her family and friends. She loved being outdoors and liked doing yardwork and helping her husband, Keith, with projects around the house. Peggy dedicated her life to caring for her family and cherished the time spent with them, especially her grandson, Tanner.

She will be remembered with love by her husband, Keith Cook, whom she married August 7, 1982; son, Justin Cook, of Shelocta; daughter, Heather Cook, of Shelocta; grandson, Tanner Cook; brother, Billy Uptegraph and wife, Theresa, of South Bend Twp.; sister, Carla Witters and husband, Butch, of Plumville; and nieces and nephews, Jon Uptegraph and daughter, Jasmin, of South Bend Twp., Lee Ann Uptegraph, of South Bend Twp., Sarah Dunmire and husband, Kevin, and family, of Plumville, and Katie Hilty and family, of Plumville.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

At Peggy's request, services will be private.
