Timothy S. "Tim" Jackson

Timothy S. "Tim" Jackson, 66, of Kittanning, PA, passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017 at his home surrounded by his family.

He was born February 4, 1950 in Kittanning, the son of Rush and M. Alberta (Adams) Jackson.

Tim was a lifelong resident of Kittanning and graduated from Lenape VoTech in 1968. Since 1972, he was the proud owner of Jackson's Machine Shop Service. He was an active member of Appleby Manor Presbyterian Church, where he served as an Elder. Hunting and shooting trap were two of his favorite hobbies and he was a member of the Dayton Sportsman's Club.

He will be greatly missed by his loving wife, Louise (Troyan) Jackson, whom he married September 12, 1981; son, Gary Jackson, of Kittanning; brothers, Marlin Jackson and wife, Mary Ann, of Ford City, and Jeff Jackson and wife, Lori, of Kittanning; sisters, Cynthia McGee and husband, Walt, of Leechburg, Martha Kilbury and husband, Rick, of Valencia, and Margaret Moses, of State College; and 12 nieces and nephews.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 515 N. McKean St., Kittanning, PA.

Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael A. Bobbitt officiating.

Interment will be in Ford City Cemetery, Ford City, PA.
