Mildred V. Trudgen

Mildred V. Trudgen, 94, of Kittanning, PA, passed away Monday, September 23, 2013 at the Armstrong County Health Center.

She was born September 22, 1919 in Wick City, Armstrong County, PA, the daughter of William A. and Vera Mae (Kline) Reed.

Mildred was a resident of Kittanning for most of her life and graduated from Kittanning High School in 1938. She dedicated her life to caring for her family and was a member of Kittanning Free Methodist Church. Mildred was very creative and in her free time loved to work on crafts and crochet.

Her memory will be cherished by her sons, Gary A. Trudgen and wife, Nancy, of Vestal, NY, and Donald A. Trudgen, of Somerset; grandchildren, David Trudgen, Cindy Anstey, Susan Montoya and Lorie Joyner; three great-grandsons; two great-granddaughters; and two step-great-grandsons.

Mildred was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, Carl J. Trudgen, whom she married July 5, 1938 and who died June 27, 2007.

Relatives and friends may visit from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at the Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 515 N. McKean St, Kittanning.

Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Thursday, September 26, 2013 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Dr. Wayne R. Sawyer officiating.

Burial will be in Lawn Haven Burial Estates, Worthington, PA.
