Getting ready for the holidays, Bauer Steps Ahead visited the beautiful historic Tara Country Inn on Tuesday November 14th. After a family style feast we stopped by Kraynaks to take in the sights and sounds of Christmas. We ended the day with something sweet from Daffins Candies.
On October 24th, Bauer Steps Ahead began a 3 hour tour at the Wappocomo Station, West Virginia. We enjoyed a full course meal in the club car while enjoying the sounds of vintage diesels as they led us through beautiful pastures and farms dating back to the 1700s. As we rode along the South Branch of the Potomac River, we entered a visually-striking gorge known as the Trough, home of the American Bald Eagle. We had the opportunity to see the Eagles nest while they soared above.
The Bauer Family Funeral Homes is presenting, HOLIDAY GRIEF: "Surviving the Season." This very special presentation will be held on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 2 PM at the Bauer Funeral Home, 515 North McKean Street in Kittanning.
September 11th is a day that we will never forget. This year Bauer Steps Ahead showed their patriotism wearing red, white and blue for matinee performance of the Texas Tenors. The first stop was at the Twisted Thistle in Leechburg where Lorrie and her staff hosted us for an amazing lunch buffet. The show at the palace theater was a unique blend of country, classical, Broadway and current pop music. The Tenors did not disappoint as everyone stood in a sing-a-long of God Bless America.
