Zane Michael McMillen
Zane Michael McMillen, 19, of Kittanning, died Sunday, May 5, 2013 in Indiana County due to an automobile accident.He was born September 30, 1993 in Kittanning, PA, the son of Rich Gamble, Jr. and Amanda J. McMillen.
Zane was a 2012 graduate of Kittanning High School and worked at Armstrong Beer Distributor. His future plan was to serve his country in the military. Zane was very active and enjoyed a lot of activities that included hunting with his Uncle Scott, guns and target shooting with his grandfather, Greg, and Eric, going to the gym, riding dirt bikes, watching movies, wrestling, Mixed Martial Arts, the great outdoors, and playing video games. He loved hanging out with his friends and quoting lines from his favorite movies.
Everyone who had the pleasure to know Zane would agree that he was always smiling and making people laugh. His cheerful personality will truly be missed by his family and friends.
Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Amanda J. McMillen and fiancé, Eric Smith of Kittanning; maternal grandparents, Gregory and Pamela McMillen of Kittanning; paternal grandmother, Leona Klugh and husband, Jerry of Ford City; maternal great-grandmother, Jean McMillen of Kittanning; paternal great-grandmother, Betty Gamble; two sisters, Deva Hartman and Paige Marzullo; three uncles, Steven McMillen and wife Heather, Chad McMillen and wife Erin all of Florida, and Scott Gamble and wife, Cathy of Kittanning; aunt, Lori Gamble of Ford City; and numerous cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father, Rich Gamble, Jr.; paternal grandfather, Richard Gamble, Sr.; maternal great-grandparents, Paul and Lucille Shuster; maternal great-grandfather, Harry McMillen; paternal great-grandparents, Angeline and James Fetterman; and paternal great-grandfather, Jess Gamble.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc, 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 A.M. on Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Christ Prince of Peace Church, 718 4th Avenue, Ford City, PA with the Father Bryan Summers as celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery, Kittanning, Pennsylvania.
