Leota J. Beck

Leota J. (Clouse) Beck, age 84, of Kittanning, PA., passed away Sunday, January 27, 2013 at the Armstrong County Memorial Hospital, Kittanning., PA.

She was born on November 22, 1928 in Rimer, Madison Township, Armstrong Co., PA, the daughter of John Craig and Florence (Swartz) Clouse.

Mrs. Beck was raised in Rimer, PA and was a graduate of Kittanning High School, class of 1946. She began her married life and started a family in Rimer and later moved to Kittanning where she raised five children. Leota's focus throughout her life was her family. Her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren added so much joy to her life and she treasured the time spent visiting with them. Leota was a loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother and will be deeply missed by the many people whose lives she touched.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory her three sons; Gary J. Beck and his wife Kathi of Kittanning, David O. Beck and his wife Sally of Ford City, and Danny C. Beck and his wife Sandy of Kittanning; her two daughters, Sonya L. Kijowski and her husband Peter of Manorville and Mindy S. Beck of Kittanning; thirteen grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; and two step-daughters, Frances Venturini of Apollo and Deirdre Marr and her husband Ron of Australia.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Francis O. Beck; a brother, John Clouse; and three sisters, Doris Anthony, Janet Dodson, and Carol Penneau.

At the family's request, visitation and funeral services will be private. Burial will be at a later date.
