Hope S. Goodman

Hope S. Goodman, 55, of Rimersburg, PA passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 21, 2025 at Clarion Hospital.

She was born on Nov. 18, 1969 in Butler, PA, the daughter of Robert J. and Zelma (Barger) King.

Hope was a member of the Baker Street Church of God and the Rimersburg Hose Company Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed scrapbooking and was devoted to maintaining her late husband's grave and keeping his memory alive. Hope will be remembered for being the best mother and GiGi to her children and grandchildren. She loved spending time with them and they will miss her dearly.

Her memory will be cherished by her son, Arthur D. Goodman, Jr. and wife Samantha of Sligo; daughter, Shelly Murphy and husband Brent of Rimersburg; and grandchildren, Madison Creel and husband Tison, Lucas Murphy, Augusta Murphy, Seth Murphy, Arthur Goodman III, Nevaeh Goodman, Oliver Goodman; great-grandchild Ophelia Creel and numerous nieces and nephews.

Hope is also survived by her brother, Roy King and wife Peach of Callensburg; and sisters, Sharon Richmond of Clintonville, Lisa Huffman and husband Barry of NC, and Cheryl McKee and husband John III of Altoona.

Hope was preceded in death by her parents; the love of her life husband, Arthur D. Goodman, Sr. whom she married on June 10, 1988 and who passed away on Oct. 16, 2021; a granddaughter, Trinity Bonnie and her sister Vickie Pentz.

Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM on Sunday, October 26, 2025 at the Bauer-Hillis Funeral Home, 758 Main St., Rimersburg, PA.

Additional visitation will be from 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Monday, October 27, 2025 at the funeral home, with Rev. John A. Milliron officiating.
