William G. Bowser
William G. "Jerry" Bowser, 76, of Rimersburg, PA, passed away on Friday, Aug. 1, 2025 at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.He was born on Jan. 22, 1949 in Huey, PA; the son of late Paul A. and Edna R. (Fair) Bowser. On Oct. 8, 1966, he married Linda M. (Conner) Bowser, who preceded him in death on Feb. 27, 2024.
Jerry was a 1966 graduate of Union High School and a lifelong resident of the Huey area. He served as a supervisor for Toby Township and had previously worked as an equipment operator. Throughout his career, Jerry also worked for St. Charles Brickyard and Salizzoni Painting. Affectionately known as the "Huey Handyman," he was always willing to lend a hand to his neighbors. He enjoyed mowing his grass, watching TV and found great joy in spending time with his family, friends, and especially his great-grandchildren.
His memory will be cherished by his son, Joe W. Bowser and wife, Stephanie of Sligo; daughters, Jerilynn K. Smith and husband, Jason of Rimersburg, Jamie L. Kline and her late husband, Jeff of Rimersburg, and Jenna R. Yori of Rimersburg; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, and one on the way.
Jerry is also survived by his siblings, Paul A. Bowser and his late wife, Judy of Arizona; Judy Hutchison and late husband's Darrell Strickland and D.A. Hutchison of FL, the late Connie Nellis and her surviving husband, Earl of FL, and Wilma L. Crispen and Wanda Crispen of Huey.
At Jerry's request, services will be held privately.
