Judith Anne El Nabarawi

Judith "Judy" Anne El Nabarawi, 73, of Templeton, PA, passed away Thursday, Sept. 5, 2024, at Armstrong Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Kittanning, PA.

She was born on July 26, 1951 in Kittanning, PA; the daughter of Thomas C. and Catherine V. (Harmon) Barrett.

Judy Anne was a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she earned her bachelor's degree in Education. For a number of years, she owned and operated a pizzeria in Long Branch, NJ with her husband, Sam. Judy was a prolific reader and loved to cook. She enjoyed walking and watching old movies.

Her memory will be cherished by her brothers, Thomas C. (Linda) Barrett Jr. of DeLand, FL, Daniel W. Barrett of New Orleans, LA, and John D. Barrett of Ford City; her sisters, Catherine V. Georgy of Williamsport and Susan T. DeLuca of Long Branch, NJ; and several nieces and nephews.

Judy was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Sam El Nabarawi; an infant sister, Mary Louisa Barrett; her two brothers-in-law, Farouck Georgy and Phillip DeLuca; and a niece, Nicole DeLuca who passed away Sept. 23, 1987.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10 AM on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024 at St. Mary's Our Lady of Guadalupe, 101 West High Street, Kittanning PA with The Rev. Juanito Lozano as celebrant.

Inurnment will be in St. Mary Cemetery, Kittanning, PA.
