Anna (Roush) Kough
Anna (Roush) Kough, of Indiana, PA, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024 at her home.She was born on March 21, 1933, in Reynoldsville, PA, the daughter of Albert and Hazel (Wingrove) Roush.
Anna was a member of Summit Church in Indiana and the American Legion Auxiliary. She had been a floral arranger for a greenhouse in Cowansville. Anna enjoyed traveling with her husband, Chris as an over the road truck driver.
Her memory will be cherished by her son, Warren Eckman and wife, Karen, of Dayton, PA; daughters, Sandy Smail and husband, Charles, of Kittanning, and Linda Brice of Ford City; nine grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
Anna is also survived by her brothers, Paul Roush and Harvey
"Bud" Roush both of Lansdale, PA; and sisters, Florence Bump and husband, Dennis of NY, Constance Roush and husband, James of DE, Hope Cunix of OH, Nellie Elkin and husband, Robert of Dayton, and Ruth Wible and husband, Steven of Kittanning.
Anna was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Clair Eckman, who died in 1984; her second husband, Carl "Cookie" Gamble, who died in 1995; and her third husband, Christopher G. Kough, who died in 2023; son, Sidney Eckman; brothers, George Roush, John Roush, Ronald Roush, and James Roush; and sisters, Jane McIntire, Phoebe Zimmerman, and Mary McGaughey-Saul.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at the Clark Chapel Funeral Home, 238 S. Main Street, Elderton, PA with Pastor Richard Motzing officiating.
Interment will be in Elderton Cemetery, Elderton, PA.
