Jason David Toy

Jason David Toy, 39, of Kittanning, died Saturday, August 10, 2013 as the result of injuries sustained in an ATV accident.

He was born October 23, 1973 in Kittanning, the son of David C. and Robin (Bowser) Toy.

Jason was a lifetime resident of the area and worked as a truck driver for MarkAnn Industries. He belonged to the Buffalo Valley Sportsman Club and enjoyed outdoor activities, especially fishing. His uncle's camp in Ridgway was one of his favorite retreats and he loved spending time with friends and family. Jason also liked to read mystery novels, cook, plant flowers and watch Pittsburgh Sports teams. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his daughter, Ashlyn. She was his world, and he will be best remembered for being a loving and caring father.

Left to cherish his memory are his parents, David and Robin Toy, of Worthington; daughter, Ashlyn Toy, of Kittanning; sister, Annessa Fiscus and husband, Ed, of Worthington; nephews, Hayden, Parker and Jaxsen Fiscus; paternal uncles, Greg Toy and wife, Kathy, of Worthington, and Dan Toy and wife, Karen, of Butler; paternal aunt, Claudia Claypoole and husband, Rod, of Worthington; maternal uncle, Brian Bowser, of East Franklin Twp.; maternal aunt, Marsha Davis and husband, Larry, of Apollo; and numerous cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Carl and Mary (Brothers) Toy; maternal grandparents, Franklin L. and Anna E. (Brendlinger) Bowser; and paternal aunt, Carol Toy.

Family and friends will be received from 7-9 PM on Monday, August 12, 2013 and from 2-4 and 7-9 PM on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Bauer Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc, 515 N. McKean Street, Kittanning.

Additional visitation will be held at 10 AM until the time of funeral services at 11 AM on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at the funeral home, with the Rev. Scott A. Jones officiating.

Private burial will be in Center Hill Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Kittanning, Pennsylvania.

Contributions can be made in Jason's memory to an education trust for his daughter, Ashlyn Toy, at any F&M Bank.
